2013: The Life of a 303 Doll (IN PICTURES)

There's been a myriad of amazing happenings in 2013 for me. If I tried to remember everything, I'd more than likely forget something, so here is the year.. in pictures.

T'is the Season to Start Blogging (Again)

No, that's not dandruff in my hair.. it's a~ snowing!

.. and no, they're not reenacting the famous Beetles photo.. they're trying not to fall.

Well.. I'm ashamed. I've had a fantastic summer, as well as a most awesome fall, and my blogging suffered severely on account of all of that fun. As I sit right now recalling the awesomeness.. I'll do a summary of my favorites.

My family was here for Thanksgiving.. what a treat. We were grubbin' here, as you can see:)



My husband is now on the Mayors Council for Persons with Disabilities. He's just so damn awesome, what more can I say!



In November, I was contacted by a boutique called The Sol Shine in the lower Highlands here in Denver, and my products proudly sit on display in that boutique.

This.. this makes me smile. A lot.



My products are also carried at Rock Salt Spa, which is an absolutely amazing salt therapy spa. I do believe I blogged about that awesome moment as well.. squeee!



Spent this afternoon decorating our loft for Christmas.

This is how a happily young ( and might I add children free ) married couple decorates for Christmas.

After the long, tedious task of decorating our place (sarcasm) I made up a batch of what is indeed my new favorite thing: Grapefruit Paté: The Complexion Mask.

It doesn't just have the coloring of ruby red grapefruit.. it smells that yum also.

This is me modeling the mask as it hardened.. because my partner in crime (aka my product tester) was busy playing some video game. Heh. I LOVE this mask. It makes me want to give myself an unnecessary amount of facials in one day.. just to experience that fresh and taut feeling, ova and ova again.. :)

.. but I digress.

I must conclude the blog for now. It's 7:45 pm and I've got to make dinner. Did I mention that it's 2 degrees right now? Ya.. it's a "food that sticks to your ribs" sort of dinner tonight.

I Know that Woman: The Thursday Files.

In this life, I've enjoyed being spoiled since infancy. That is indeed a very nice privilege that not all get to enjoy. I've been so blessed that I knew that it was time to give. I've received so much, it's time to give with all of my heart where I can..

..and that is how my companies were born.

I've said to my parents on numerous occasions that I hope to do something that makes you proud. They both tell me that they've always been proud of me, which through my 20's was probably not always that easy.. but I thank GOD for everyone and everything that has seen me through.

.. and this.. this is my way to give. Thus far it has rewarded me in the best way.

Onward and Upward.

On a Colorado Note: The Thursday Files: She's Baaaaaaack.. and I'VE MISSED HER.

The woman in these pictures loves fashion and glamour. However, between the ten years that separate these photos, she gave it all up and became a full time nurturer.

How do I know?

That woman is me.

For years, although I still had a love for all things glam, I put it to bed for ten years and began to learn how to nurture and become a better, stronger person, which of course has been a wonderful thing. I've been so heavy into mind|body|spirit, I had not realized how far I'd stepped away from glamour|fashion|style.. until the last few years where I started to take notice.

With the company doing well and having to put my fashion foot forward once again, it's been like reuniting with an old friend. Numerous changes have allowed the fashion mind and creative mind to meet up with the business mind. Growing pains, love, and attention to the little things got me here.

Last Thursday was my 35th birthday, and what a great year to get back to glam. The years where I put glam to bed allowed me to learn sooooooo much. Although I got a tad rusty, it was indeed like riding a bike. I simply looked around, brushed my shoulders off, and picked up where I left off..

and I'm back.

On a Colorado Note: The Thursday Files: Love, Boulder

My husband and I moved to Denver in 2010. One day in Spring of 2011, we decided to visit an awesome little place called Boulder, and I fell in love with it.

This Thursday has been a day of keeping an eye on the news and twitter, as the destruction the rainfall has had on Boulder was the topic. This evening I decided to take a trip there, via my photos over the years. Decided to add just a few. For the love of Boulder.

So, I've been enjoying the heck out of summer 2013.

Outtakes with my husband. These photos were a part of the celebration of our Facebook anniversary. Love the orgasm eyes I seem to be giving in the second picture, hah! Perhaps eyes of lust for the anniversary ring on my finger (which is a pure winner!) The accidental shots are what happen when you only have ten seconds before the photo is taken! It's both a good and bad thing.. mainly bad only when you forget you've only got ten seconds until "action." :)

Anywho..


Four years ago on August 27th, I became friends with the person that I'm sharing photo space with here, and I must say, I like the guy. :-)

With this being the last full month of summer, my blogging should sink back into "normal" soon.

I have really been enjoying this summer, which is fantastic, but the blog has suffered a bit. There are a few things I may forget here, but I will try to spotlight the most awesome stuff!

This was taken last Saturday at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival in Boulder. We had a wonderful time. There were cigar vendors a plenty. Thunderstorms. Heat. Alcohol. Thunderstorms. Heat. Cool peeps. You know, the typical Colorado stuff. It truly was a great day.

This is so awesome, I still have to pinch myself.

303 Dolls Face + Body and Sexy Earth Chicque products are now being carried at Rock Salt Spa in Denver. Denise Brummond is just an amazing soul, and I am simply thrilled to be a part of her magic. Blessings beyond belief. We share the "sky is the limit" mindset, so the onward and upward way of thinking here is supreme!

The blessings, happiness, and appreciation I have for everything right now is on.. like 200. There have been rocky moments this summer, but my husband and I weathered the storm like champs. From all bad some good will come.. not just an expression, it's the truth. Those moments can make an already grateful person nearly glow with appreciation.
